John Riolo is a full
time musician and instructor with over 30 years experience. He plays trumpet, piano, guitars, and sings professionally.
He also teaches trombone, baritone, french horn, violin and drums. His performing experience includes playing
lead guitar, keyboards and singing for numerous classic rock and wedding bands. He also has played solo trumpet for jazz bands
and classical ensembles and has directed several church choirs.
Many
of John's students have gone on to be professional musicians or teachers themselves. He even has grandstudents (one time
students who now send their kids to him). For ten years he owned and operated his
own music school in Merrick and is very
familiar with New York's N.Y.S.S.M.A. program.
